PACKAGE & PROCESS

Choose Vacuum Equipment Around the Package

Food packs, rigid containers and bulky textiles require different machine arrangements.

Vacuum packaging ranges from sealing individual bags to integrated forming, filling and closing systems. This collection also includes vacuum tray packaging, jar capping, can seaming and textile compression sealing. Select the process around the container construction and the way the product must be handled.

ENGINEERING START POINTVacuum extraction, gas flushing and mechanical compression are distinct process steps.

Confirm which functions the selected machine performs. Package dimensions, product behavior and tooling determine the suitable configuration.

EQUIPMENT PATHS

Choose by Package and Application

Practical routes for bags, trays, jars, cans and bulky textiles.

01 · BAGS

Chamber, Nozzle & Automatic Bag Systems

Seal prefilled bags with a chamber or external-nozzle machine, or combine weighing, filling, forming and vacuum sealing in an automated workflow.

02 · TRAYS & RIGID CONTAINERS

Tray Packaging, Vacuum Capping & Can Seaming

Select tray and film equipment, vacuum cappers or can seamers according to the package. Tooling, lid design and any gas-flushing function are configuration-specific.

03 · BULKY TEXTILES

Vacuum Compression & Sealing

Pack pillows, quilts and mattresses using dedicated compression and sealing equipment. Match the press area, package dimensions, material recovery and required reduction in volume.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Vacuum Packaging FAQs

Package compatibility, process options and production requirements.

Should I choose a chamber or external-nozzle bag sealer?

A chamber machine encloses the package during evacuation. An external-nozzle system extracts air through a nozzle positioned in the bag. Package size, product characteristics and bag construction determine the suitable method.

Can vacuum packaging machines also fill and weigh products?

Selected automated systems combine weighing or dosing, bag handling, vacuum extraction and sealing. Standalone vacuum sealers normally require the package to be filled separately.

Do all vacuum sealers include nitrogen flushing?

No. Gas flushing is available on specific configurations and may require an external gas source. Confirm the process and supply requirements for the selected machine.

Can vacuum cappers and can seamers be used for the same containers?

They use different closure mechanisms. A vacuum capper tightens a compatible cap; a vacuum can seamer forms a seam with a compatible can end. Container and lid samples are needed to confirm the correct tooling.

Can this collection handle pillows, quilts and mattresses?

Yes. Dedicated textile compression and sealing equipment is included. Confirm the package size, compression method, vacuum arrangement and how the material recovers after opening.

Does vacuum sealing guarantee a fixed shelf life?

No. Shelf life depends on the product, initial condition, packaging barrier, seal integrity and storage process. Validate the complete packaging process for the intended product and conditions.

What information is needed to recommend a machine?

Send package samples, product details, filled dimensions or weight and target output. Include any vacuum, residual-oxygen, gas-flushing or compression targets and the required connection to other equipment.
