Aerosol packaging is a coordinated process

An aerosol package combines a can, product, valve and propellant system. The line may include liquid filling, valve placement, crimping, gas charging, checking and downstream packing. Equipment selection must be based on the complete package and intended process.

Liquid filling

The product concentrate is filled before or according to the required process sequence. Product properties, fill volume, foaming behavior and material compatibility affect the filling station. The customer must define the formula category and handling requirements for review.

Valve placement and crimping

The valve must match the can opening and the crimping tooling. Automatic valve feeding depends on consistent valve geometry. Crimp dimensions and closure quality should be established using the actual can and valve samples.

Gas charging

The propellant and charging method determine the equipment and safety requirements. Gas handling must follow applicable facility rules, ventilation requirements and local regulations. The production site is responsible for the appropriate safety design and approvals.

Line integration

Can spacing, transfer stability and guarding should be considered across the complete line. A valve feeder, protective enclosure or additional station may be included depending on the specific equipment configuration. Inspection and leak-test requirements should be defined by the project.

Required project data

Provide can and valve samples, product and propellant information, liquid and gas fill targets, desired speed, voltage, compressed-air details and site requirements. ZONESUN can use these inputs to prepare a project-specific equipment proposal and testing plan.

Quick decision guide

Decision area What to confirm Why it matters
Can and valve Dimensions, valve specification and crimp requirement Defines handling, placement and tooling
Product Concentrate properties and fill quantity Guides liquid-filling configuration
Propellant process Required charging method and target quantity Determines the gas-charging stage
Project review Complete package and intended process Supports safe line and station planning
Buyer’s tip: Aerosol equipment must be planned around the complete can, valve, product and propellant process. Do not select stations independently.
