Pad printing transfers ink from an engraved plate through a silicone pad onto the product. It suits selected logo, text and pattern applications on components, caps, cosmetic items, stationery and other compatible workpieces. The machine, pad, plate, ink and fixture work together to produce the required image.
Plate dimensions are not the same as usable printing area. Check product clearance, pad access and how the workpiece will be held.

Machine selection alone does not determine print quality.
Supply the logo or text at the required dimensions. Confirm compatible plate size, image preparation and how artwork changes will be handled.
Select a suitable pad shape and contact area. Hold the product consistently so the image reaches the intended position on each cycle.
Match ink to the actual material and coating. Confirm surface preparation and drying or curing requirements through a sample print.

Practical answers on plates, ink, materials and operation.
An engraved printing plate holds the artwork. A silicone pad picks up the inked image and transfers it to the workpiece. The pad and fixture must suit the print area and product shape.
Suitable configurations can print on selected curved or uneven surfaces. Access, curvature, pad shape and fixture stability determine whether the image transfers correctly; not every surface is suitable.
These machines use printing plates to define the image. Changing the artwork generally requires changing or preparing the plate. A production counter does not mean the machine prints a different serial number on each item. Confirm the exact workflow for changing dates.
Do not assume plate-making equipment is included. Provide the artwork and dimensions for a compatible prepared plate, and confirm how replacement plates will be supplied.
Contents vary by model and selected option. Some packages include a custom plate; others offer machine-only or standard-plate options. The Y70 and Y200 listings specify that ink is not included. Confirm the complete package before ordering.
Pneumatic equipment needs a suitable compressed-air supply. Check the pressure and air requirements for the selected model. The Y200 listing specifies that the compressor is sold separately.
Ink must suit the actual substrate, coating and required adhesion. Confirm preparation, drying or curing requirements and test the finished print on the intended material.
Actual output also depends on loading, positioning, unloading and the printing setup. Compare machines using the complete operating cycle rather than assuming that cycle speed equals finished pieces per hour.
