APPLICATION FIT

Built Around a Press-On Lid

Choose the equipment by how the lid is placed, fed and pressed onto the container.

This collection is for compatible packages where a plastic lid is positioned and secured with downward pressure. It includes easy-tear lids for chewing-gum containers, flip-top closures for condiments and snap-on lids for jars. It does not cover threaded screw caps that must be tightened by rotating wheels.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Press-On Lid Capping FAQs

What is the difference between press-on and screw capping?

Press-on closures are secured by controlled downward pressure. Screw caps require rotating heads or wheels to tighten a threaded closure.

Can one machine handle flip-top and tear-off lids?

It depends on compatible container dimensions, lid underside and feeding orientation. The pressing head and cap-feeding setup must suit the specific lid.

When is automatic cap feeding needed?

Automatic feeding is useful where continuous output requires lids to be sorted, oriented and supplied to the pressing station.

Do I need to send samples?

For standard lids, dimensions and clear images are usually enough. Send samples for custom lids, unusual shapes or integrated projects.
