Irregular & Tapered Bottle Labeling Machines
Find a labeling setup for selected oval, hexagonal, polygonal and tapered containers. Start with the bottle shape and label layout, then confirm the fixture, application method and output.
Choose by the Shape You Need to Label
Different geometries need different ways of supporting the bottle and applying the label.
Oval & Custom-Shaped Containers
Selected fixture-based machines support oval or unusual profiles. Define the labeling face and provide the actual bottle shape before choosing a support or positioning mold.
Hexagonal & Polygonal Bottles
A label on one face differs from a label that crosses several corners. Confirm whether you need separate labels or a continuous wrap and how the bottle will be held during application.
Tapered Bottles & Buckets
Conical containers need a suitable holding and application arrangement. The taper, labeling area and label artwork must be assessed together; a standard cylindrical-bottle labeler is not automatically suitable.
Confirm the Label Position Before Choosing the Machine
Tell us what the finished package should look like, not only how many bottles you need to label.
Single Face, Front & Back or Full Wrap
Mark each labeling position on bottle photos. Specify whether labels are separate or continuous, and whether a label must cross corners or follow a tapered surface.
Fixed Alignment & Product Support
If the label must align with a handle, seam or existing mark, state the required alignment. A mechanical fixture and a camera-guided positioning system are different solutions; vision inspection is not standard on every model.
Select the Right Level of Automation
Choose around batch size, operator loading, changeovers and the connected production equipment.
Manual & Semi-Automatic
For operator-loaded production and smaller batches. Compare how the bottle is positioned, how labeling is triggered and what changes are needed between bottle formats.
Automatic & Inline
For compatible containers requiring continuous feeding and labeling. Confirm bottle stability, conveyor direction and height, target output and interfaces with filling or capping equipment.
What We Need to Assess Your Application
For an initial recommendation, send the following details.
Container: photos from several angles, dimensions, material and any taper.
Label: artwork, dimensions, material, roll direction and roll specifications.
Placement: marked photos showing each label and any required alignment.
Output: target pieces per minute, batch sizes and product changeovers.
Production: standalone operation or connection to existing equipment.
Bottle and label samples may be needed for custom molds, tapered surfaces, labels crossing corners or tight positioning requirements. Compatibility and achievable output must be confirmed for the selected configuration.
Irregular & Tapered Bottle Labeling FAQs
Answers to common questions before specifying a machine.
Can one machine label every irregular bottle shape?
No. Each model has a defined application range. Bottle shape, label dimensions, positioning and fixture requirements must be checked together.
Can a hexagonal bottle receive a full-wrap label?
Selected models support wraparound labeling on hexagonal containers. Label material, corner geometry and the required overlap need to be checked using the intended bottle and label.
Does a tapered bottle need special label artwork?
It may. A label spanning a tapered surface can require artwork and a cut shape suited to that surface. Confirm label geometry and application through testing rather than assuming a standard rectangle will fit.
Does a custom fixture mean the machine uses a camera?
No. A fixture locates or supports the product mechanically. Camera-guided positioning is a separate capability and must be specified when required.
Can the labeler connect with a filling and capping line?
Selected automatic models can be integrated when bottle handling, conveyor layout, speed and controls are compatible. Operator-loaded machines should be planned as separate workstations unless the configuration is specifically adapted.
