Collect printed labels, prepare rolls for labeling, or add date coding during rewinding. Match the machine to your label width, core size, roll diameter and workflow.
Choose by the task: collect, transfer, count or code.
Label rewinders wind label web onto a core for storage, handling or subsequent use in a labeling machine. Desktop units support print-station roll collection, while roll-to-roll systems transfer labels from a supply roll to a take-up roll. Selected configurations add counting or date coding as part of roll preparation.
Core diameter, roll capacity and winding orientation matter as much as speed when matching a rewinder to a printer or label applicator.
Three practical routes for preparing and managing label rolls.
For collecting labels into rolls alongside a compatible printer or organizing loose label web. Check the supported core sizes, roll capacity, winding direction and speed-control method.
For transferring labels between rolls and preparing manageable batches. Counting is available on selected equipment; confirm whether you need label quantity, web length or simple rewinding.
For adding production dates to labels as they pass between rolls. Choose a configuration supplied with a date coder and confirm the print area, label material and required output.
Provide the label specification and the required finished-roll format.
Clarify compatibility and optional functions before choosing a model.
No. A rewinder collects or transfers label web into rolls. Applying labels to products requires a label applicator; rewinding prepares or manages the rolls used in that process.
Check label width, printer output speed, exit position, core size and finished-roll diameter. Automatic synchronization is model-specific and should be confirmed for the selected printer and rewinder.
No. The RJL2 specifications include label and length counting, while the RW3 is supplied with a date coder. Basic desktop rewinders should not be assumed to include either function.
Winding direction depends on the model. Some desktop units offer bidirectional rewinding, while the standard RW2 and RW3 descriptions specify one direction. Confirm the roll orientation required by your next machine.
Material and sensor compatibility must be checked together, especially when counting is required. Share the label and liner material, transparency and gap details so detection can be assessed.
Rewinding and slitting are different operations. Slitting is not established as a standard function of this range; specify any width-conversion requirement separately.
Send a label sample, roll dimensions and details of your printer or next labeling process. We can check the rewinding configuration and any counting or date-coding requirements.
