What does the CCD camera do during labeling?
The camera identifies the flat product’s position and orientation so the labeling mechanism can place the label at the specified location.
Is vision positioning the same as label quality inspection?
No. Position recognition guides label placement. Checking printed text, barcode readability, missing labels or defects after application requires a separately specified inspection function.
Which products are these systems designed for?
The current range is designed for flat objects. Share product samples, dimensions and the target label location to confirm feeding, camera recognition and application suitability.
How do I choose between the available configurations?
Choose a conveyor-based positioning labeler when product feeding and collection are handled separately. Choose a configuration with a feeder and accumulator when those steps need to be included.
Does every vision labeler print variable data?
No. Printing is a separate configuration choice. The STB1 specifications list real-time label printing; confirm the supplied print engine and consumables for your project. Do not assume printing is included on every model.
How should labeling accuracy be confirmed?
Specify the permitted deviation of the applied label from its target position. Camera or positioning accuracy alone does not establish finished-label accuracy; confirm performance with representative products and labels.
