Movable Letters & Character Sets
For names, initials and messages that change between jobs. Compare the font, actual character height, included characters and repeated-letter quantities.
Build changing text with movable letters or create a fixed logo with a custom die. Match the character dimensions, holder and mounting method to your machine and material.
Choose tooling by the result you need and the way it mounts.
Movable letters let you rearrange text, while a custom logo die reproduces a fixed design. Both require compatible mounting, suitable material contact and the correct process. Selecting by font or advertised size alone can leave you with type that does not fit your holder.
Confirm both, along with your machine model and holder. A larger number in a product title may describe the body thickness rather than the letter height.
Three complementary routes for composing, reproducing and holding a design.
For names, initials and messages that change between jobs. Compare the font, actual character height, included characters and repeated-letter quantities.
For a fixed logo or design. Choose suitable brass or silicone tooling and confirm the imprint size, backing and attachment to the press or branding handle.
For securing and aligning compatible type. Check type-body dimensions, holder length, number of lines and the connection to your machine.
These details help match the tooling and prevent sizing or mounting errors.
Practical guidance on dimensions, included parts and custom artwork.
No. Size labels may refer to the uppercase A or another reference character. Lowercase letters can be shorter, and the type body's overall height or thickness is a separate measurement. Check the selected listing's dimension drawing.
Compatibility depends on the type-body dimensions, holder and attachment. Some type is machine-specific. Send your machine model and holder measurements before ordering replacement or additional characters.
Contents depend on the selected variant. Some complete sets include a holder or box; other listings sell these separately. Check whether you are ordering a full set, a character group, individual type or a box only.
Choose a custom die for fixed artwork such as a logo. Movable type is useful for changing names and text. Fine detail, artwork size, alignment and production needs determine the appropriate configuration.
Vector artwork with text converted to outlines is preferred. Send the final imprint dimensions as well. High-resolution image files and other formats can be reviewed; engraving suitability and any preparation work must be confirmed before production.
They have different material and operating requirements. Silicone tooling is intended for specific foil-transfer applications and has its own temperature limit. Confirm the die material, mounting and operating instructions for the selected product.
Foil stamping transfers a decorative layer. A recessed or raised impression requires suitable tooling, material and pressure. Do not assume that foil transfer alone will produce a raised effect.
Lead time depends on the approved artwork, dimensions, tooling and quantity. Confirm production and shipping estimates with the quotation rather than relying on one time estimate for every custom order.
Share the final imprint size, material and mounting photos. We can help confirm suitable letters, a custom die or a compatible holder before you order.
