Print-and-apply equipment combines label printing with application to a product or package. It suits operations where batch details, dates, identifiers or other label fields change between runs. Clarify printing, data handling and production requirements before choosing a model.
How is print and apply different from ordinary labeling?
An ordinary labeler applies labels that are already printed. A print-and-apply system prints label information as part of the application process. Adding a date coder to a labeler does not necessarily provide full-label printing.
Do all machines use the same printing method?
No. Direct thermal, thermal transfer and other printing configurations depend on the model. Confirm the print engine, resolution and consumables against your label content and durability requirements.
Can the system receive data from our production software?
Share the data source, required fields and update frequency for an integration review. ERP, WMS or MES connectivity must be confirmed for the specific printer, software and machine configuration.
Are RFID encoding and weighing included on every machine?
No. The ZS-512F product specification includes RFID writing, verification and rejection; the ZS-TB650 includes weighing and price-label printing. These are model-specific functions.
How should I specify the speed of an integrated line?
Use the required output of finished, printed and labeled packages. Confirm the printer cycle, label length, applicator speed and upstream packaging rate together; conveyor speed alone is not labeling throughput.
