What is vacuum capping used for?
Vacuum capping is used for compatible containers and closures where air removal or controlled atmosphere sealing is part of the packaging process.
Is vacuum capping suitable for every screw cap?
No. The closure and container must be compatible with the vacuum sealing process. Twist-off and metal lug caps are common examples for glass-jar projects.
When is nitrogen flushing needed?
Nitrogen flushing is used in selected can or dry-product applications where oxygen reduction is required. It is not a standard requirement for every vacuum capping project.
Can vacuum capping connect with filling equipment?
Yes. Filling and vacuum capping can be planned together when container handling, product temperature and required output are defined.
