How do I change a date or batch number?

Arrange or replace the compatible metal characters in the holder. These hot stamp coders do not provide screen-based variable-data editing like a digital inkjet printer.

Which packaging materials can be coded?

Selected plastic films, composite bags, foil laminates and paper-based packaging may be suitable. Match the ribbon, temperature, contact time and pressure to the actual surface; these machines are primarily for compatible soft packaging.

Are characters, holders and ribbons interchangeable?

No. Confirm character dimensions, holder fit, line count and ribbon specifications for the selected model. Printing area and included characters vary by configuration.

Do these machines need ink cartridges?

They use hot stamp ribbon rather than liquid ink cartridges. Ribbon remains a consumable and must suit the material and machine.

Is the mounting holder included with an inline coder?

Package contents depend on the option. The LT-50 listing includes versions with and without a holder. Confirm mounting and compatibility with the host machine.

What should I provide for selection?

Send packaging material details, a photo of the coding position, the required text and line layout, and target output. Include host-machine details for an integrated coder.
